Into the Storm by mikeg8807 Into the Storm by mikeg8807
Love this shot too... Taken in a storm about 6 months ago. I saw the plane flying towards the clouds, and i hurried and got my camera ready.

Tell me what you think!

what a phenomenal shot- looks surreal. Is there anything more beautiful than clouds? Great job!

Imagine being on that plane and looking out the window. Now /that/ would be amazing.

I just love those occasions when huge afternoon storms form really crisp-edged formations basking in the eerie yellow light. One can imagine this is what the atmosphere of Jupiter would be like. The dark clouds in front really help give it extra depth and that plane adds a sense of scale too  not to mention the colours remind me of those old renaissance paintings and how skies were depicted in those too :painter:
